The Mitsubishi MXZ Series Mini Split Heat Pump System is the ultimate heavy-duty residential and light commercial multi-room solution, engineered to deliver precise comfort to up to 5 independent zones from a single outdoor footprint. Delivering a robust 42,000 BTUs of inverter-driven capacity, this advanced M-Series condenser serves as the eco-friendly, low-GWP upgrade designed specifically for next-generation R-454B refrigerant. Best of all, you can mix and match the indoor air handler styles as required by your property's architectural layout. Compatible indoor configurations can include any combination of the following: Ductless Wall Mounted (GX/FX Series), Horizontal Ducted (PEAD Series), Ceiling Recessed Cassettes (MLZ/SLZ Series), and Floor Standing units (MFZ Series). Mix-matching indoor units offers you a wide range of targeted heating and cooling profiles, giving you complete environmental control over individual bedrooms, additions, or offices. Mitsubishi offers these indoor styles in a wide range of capacities, making sure the MXZ multi-room system has the right solution for you. Operation Performance Outdoor Unit:

• Minimum of two Indoor Units must be connected to the MXZ-5D42NL outdoor condenser.
• Maximum of five Indoor Units can be connected to support up to 5 completely independent climate zones.
• Minimum installed capacity cannot be less than 12,000 Btu, with a massive maximum connected capacity allowance of up to 54,000 Btu.
• System features intelligent zone control and can run efficiently with only one indoor Unit turned on.
• Indoor Units can be All Ducted, Non-Ducted, or a Mixed Combination of Ducted and Non-Ducted styles depending on your installation requirements.

SEER2 / Efficiency Ratings Based on Style of Indoor Chosen:

• All Ductless (Non-Ducted): Up to 18.00 SEER2 / 10.40 EER2 / 9.50 HSPF2
• Mixed Configuration: Up to 16.70 SEER2 / 9.45 EER2 / 8.95 HSPF2
• All Ducted: Up to 15.40 SEER2 / 8.50 EER2 / 8.40 HSPF2

Please Read T-stats & Controllers:

• Wireless Remote Controllers are Included natively with MSZ-GX, MSZ-FX, and MFZ floor-mounted indoor units.
• Wireless Remote Controllers are Not Included with PEAD, SEZ, or SLZ ceiling cassette indoor units.
• A compatible Wall-Wired Thermostat (such as the Simple MA or Deluxe MA) or a Wireless Thermostat interface (like the MHK2) must be added separately for PEAD, SEZ, and SLZ series operations.
